Original idea was to provide an ability to talk to an AI version of themselves. We wrote a scraper for discord messages and fine-tuned a GPT2 model to respond in the conversational style of the user.
Little did we know that a year later OpenAI would release ChatGPT and instruct models would take the world by storm.
